Due to unforeseen circumstances our resident teacher Dawa is unavailable to teach this weekend, but Tsony, the resident teacher of Natural Bridge Bodhi Path in Virginia, has graciously agreed to step in to teach this course.
Through the practice of six transcendent qualities – Generosity, Ethics, Patience, Joyful Perseverance, Meditative Concentration, and Insight – known in Sanskrit as “Paramitas”- we cross from a state of dissatisfaction and delusion (Samsara) to the experience and realization of wellbeing and natural awakening. Learning about them from a qualified teacher is the first step on this authentic path of personal transformation.

About the teacher:
A Buddhist monk for over 25 years, Tsony completed two traditional three-year retreats under the guidance of the late great meditation master Gendun Rinpoche. For fifteen years he was the Abbot of Kundreul Ling Monastery in France where hundreds of Westerners have completed traditional three-year retreats.
He has been teaching at Bodhi Path centers since 1999, many of those years under the spiritual guidance of the late 14th Shamarpa. In 2005, he began the transfer of his responsibilities at the Kundreul Ling community in order to concentrate on nurturing the growing Bodhi Path projects in Europe and the US. Since 2009, following the 14th Shamarpa’s advice, he has been living in the US at the Natural Bridge Bodhi Path center, where Tsony serves as the resident teacher.
